information about joining the band, orchestra, and chorus, contact the
Eastman Community Music School of the Eastman School of Music at 26
Gibbs Street, Rochester, NY 14604, telephone (585)274-1400. Interested
individuals may also visit any of the rehearsals at the First Unitarian
Church, 220 Winton Road South, Rochester; the band and orchestra meet on
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9-11 AM, and the chorus meets on
Thursday from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM.
Tuition for Band, Orchestra and Chorus is $134 per semester. Band and
orchestra participants must provide their own instruments in good repair
and a music stand. Tuition for all chamber groups including the Big
Band is $67. Members who participate in Band, Orchestra, or Chorus
receive a 50% discount off the rate for ensembles. For those taking
private lessons at ECMS, ensemble tuition if free. |
